| Job Reference: VC21704T Starting on 1st October 2009 and running until at least the end of 2010, BBT are working a large Operator in resourcing a freelance Operations Geologist. For the Skarv. Works with subsurface and drilling teams to plan and execute wells, you will be involved in: * Responsible for coordination of geological work related to daily well execution / drilling operations * Planning: set up data acquisition system on rig and endure data transfer of subsurface data * Plan and coordinate well - site geological support * Daily communication with rig, mud-logging crew, MWD crew etc. daily reporting to subsurface team and communication with drilling team. * Daily reports filing and feed into BPN management systems. * Firs pass interpretation of geological data and updating relevant models, monitoring real time pressure prediction data and other MWD data. * Provide subsurface input to drilling program. * Coordinate final well reports. Skills: It is expected your CV and references will demonstrate the following skills, qualification and experience: Education/Experience: * Significant experience in geological operations * Geotechnical integration and interpretation software skills * Petrophysical understanding * Pore pressure evaluation capability. * Understanding of drilling and completion technology.
