| Job Reference: VC21356T Working on one of the first oil fields to be developed in the Norwegian sector of the Barents Sea, this field should be active for around 15 years (using an FPSO concept to drill 22 wells for an estimated 28 million sm3 oil reserves and 8 billion smGBP gas reserves). The role of Value Co-Ordinator is with a large international Operator working out of both Stavanger and Hammerfest and the employer and the project represent a fantastic opportunity for candidates to work on an interesting and unique project from set up right through to execution. The role of Value Co-Ordinator is important as process and procedures implemented now will used for future operator business within Norway if successful, the role offers the successful candidate a great opportunity to set down a working system which will be adopted for all of their Norwegian operator business. This role needs a flexibile candidate as it will require substantial travel to Hammerfest, offshore, Milan, London and even the Far East. You will report to the Change Interface Value and Risk Manager and will support the application of the Company Value Management System on the project ensuring that value management principles and processes are applied and project value is being maximised. With an emphasis on risk management and preparing value assurance reviews, the main tasks will be: support the change interface value and risk manager defining overall value assurance checks including Value Assurance Reviews, Peer Reviews, and Peer Assists). defining assurance checks in line with company guidelines, terms of reference, execution plans, documentation, and deliverables ensuring value assurance checks feedback diffusion, follow up, action and implementation ensuring value improving practices and value engineering activities and review implementation defining specific guidelines and procedures support development of team and risk management activities You will be required to liaise internally with engineering staff, package managers project managers and externally with the contractors selected by the operator. Skills: It is expected that you will have an Engineering degree as well as basic economic and management skills and a working knowledge of English language.
